Legit CheckIs this Facebook ad on the record?
Drop the screenshot or the photos, name the building and the price. We compare the photos with every photo in the registry’s corpus and the price with the building’s median, then say what we found and what we checked against.
What a check does
- Photos: each image is hashed the way the registry hashes its own, then compared with every photo we have collected and every photo an earlier check asked about. Every registry photo is also held trimmed four ways, so a copy cropped evenly still matches. In a screenshot, the photo is cut out first and compared on its own.
- Price: compared with the building’s median asking rent for the same unit type, once at least 3 rents of that type are on file for it.
- Registry: whether the building is on file, and whether a live verified unit there matches the photos or the price.
A check never opens the Facebook link, never names an agent, and never asks an AI model. Every line on the card comes from a row in the registry, and the card says what it was compared with.
